Pastor Karen Powell has a love for God and his people. At the tender age of twelve, she was serving her peers, doing whatever she could to help them. Her peers liken her to a mother figure because of her nurturing spirit.

Pastor Karen Powell received her education from Parochial and Public Schools along with taking some courses at Sojourner Douglas College and receiving her bachelor’s degree in biblical studies from North Carolina school of Theology.

Prophet Powell accepted her call to Ministry in 1996, where she later preached her initial sermon on February 9, 1998, at Emmanuel Christian Community Church where Bishop Durant K. Harvin III is Senior Pastor. During her time at Emmanuel Christian Community Church, she was under the leadership of Bishop Harvin. He allowed her to serve as the Minister to Discipleship and Spiritual Nurture, which consist of instructing the New Members Class, teaching Bible study through various books, such as Sex Traps by Dr. Wanda Turner and Battlefield of the Mind by Pastor Joyce Myers.

July 2002 God sent Prophet Powell to Beth-EL Temple Church of Christ where she served under Bishop Richard J. Pender Sr. Prophet Powell taught the Youth and young adult bible study and served on the Prison ministry letting men and women know, the way has already been made and not to despise the process.

Prophet Karen Powell is in partnership with Helping Others Win (H.O.W) Ministry, Inc., under the leadership of Elder Renee Laws.

Prophet Karen Powell is the Director of One Touch Mime Ministry, teaching several churches throughout the Baltimore –Washington metropolitan area the art and the skills to Miming.

She is the visionary of One Touch Ministries Inc. showing love and filling the great commission for which she has been called and chosen! She walks in the Office of the Prophetic and will only speak what saith the Lord! She is a bold soldier and a demon slayer!

She has one son, 5 grandsons and one Granddaughter.
